This is due to a bug (that we're fixing) that only partially updated the content from V1. To fix this:

1. Open Syntorial
2. From the Options menu (or for iPad users from the top left menu), select Download Lesson Packs
3. Remove the Essentials
4. Re-download the Essentials.

This will complete the update.
