Famous Synth Sound Remakes

Single-patch challenges that focus on one famous sound. Check out the full list at syntorial.com/presets. Download the remake from each preset page, unzip it, and follow the ReadMe inside.

Genre Lessons

Challenges focused on a group of famous synth sounds from a specific genre (New Wave, Electronic, Hip Hop, etc). To access:

1. Log into your online account.
2. In the Syntorial section select “Downloads”. If you're a demo user, instead select “Additional Downloads”.
3. Scroll down to “Add-On Lessons” to see what's currently available. Click to download.
   1. IMPORTANT: iPad Users must select the Syntorial 2 folder as the download location. Mac/Windows users can save it anywhere.
4. Once downloaded unzip it, and follow the ReadMe instructions inside, which will tell you to:
   1. Open Syntorial
   2. Go into the Options menu (for iPad users, the regular menu at the top left) and select “Open Lesson…”
   3. Navigate to the unzipped folder, select it, and load it.

Lesson Packs

Series of lessons focused on specific synths (Serum, Massive, etc). To access:

1. Open Syntorial
2. Open the Lesson Pack downloader
   1. Mac/Windows: Go into the Options menu at the top and select “Download Lesson Packs…”
   2. iPad: Go into the Menu at the top left and select “Download Lesson Packs…”
3. Download a Lesson Pack, and close the downloader.
4. Follow the video instructions.
